James Van Eaton
James Van Eaton has been involved with theater as an actor, stage manager, assistant director, and creative consultant for the original adaptation of his second novel, Chasing Moonshine. A lifelong admirer of characters, stories, and the words that propel them, James co-founded Winston Smith Books in Auburn, CA and served as general manager for its first ten years, during which he authored four novels. He recently completed the rough draft of a new play called Help Me, and has another waiting in the wings. In the spare time that he doesn’t actually have, James plays one-sided fetch with his cat Rocky, watches reruns of 90’s sitcoms, and dreams about playing all the vintage video games he can’t seem to stop buying.
Amy Millay holds a bachelor's degree in theatre from Oregon State University, and spent a year teaching high school theatre. She has participated in community theatre in the Beaverton area as both an actor and director. Recently she directed The 39 Steps at Beaverton Civic Theatre. She is also a lifelong creative writer and recently completed her first full-length play. When she isn't writing, Amy runs very slowly and hangs out with her husband Brad and their two cats.
